There are many things each one of us can do to help preserve nature and restore biodiversity. By planting native species, eliminating the use of chemical herbicides & pesticides and reducing our fall clean up routines, we can all invite beautiful new species of birds, butterflies and other pollinators to live and thrive in our yards. For more information on this important and rewarding work, check out our Books page and filter by “Conservation” under Subject. The Humane Gardener or Doug Tallamy’s books are a great place to start!
